Utility design and coordination includes subsurface utility investigation oversight, conflict analysis, utility relocation design, facilitation of utility relocations, and construction observation and inspection of utility relocations. Most of these – if not all – are critical-path activities for project start-up through project completion.
Our Project Managers will oversee utility designators (QLB) and test holes (QLA) to develop subsurface utility engineering (SUE) mapping consistent with CRT 9 -1.5 and compliant with ASCE 38 subsurface utility engineering standards.
For more than 25 years, we have been developing programs to facilitate utility relocations for major public and private projects. In addition to leveraging our unparalleled relationships with the utility companies, and our understanding of design criteria and constructability, Goodbee and Associates, Inc. routinely and effectively facilitates complex utility relocations. Our proven process combines close coordination, conflict analysis, scheduling, and cost estimating to develop plans and utility agreements that benefit our clients and utility companies. Goodbee also offers construction oversight services and utility infrastructure planning.
We provide cost effective design for water and sanitary lines, communications, power, and gas lines in Autocad and Microstation. We develop utility relocation cost estimates and utility agreements to our clients latest design standards.
