Utility Relocation Design

North Metro Rail Line design-build project, an 18.5-mile electric commuter rail line that will run from Denver Union Station through Commerce City, Thornton and Northglenn to Highway 7 in North Adams County.

Project Summary

Goodbee & Associates, Inc. led utility design and coordination for the commuter rail and stations. Goodbee developed and maintained the dry utility plans, utility tracking matrix, and developed No Conflict Letters or Work Orders/DRALs/CRALs for over 250 potential utility conflicts.  Goodbee managed utility test hole (potholes), utility coordination with over 15 dry utility companies and 10 wet utility companies. Critical utilities on the North Metro rail line include electric transmission, communication, oil, gas, natural gas, sanitary, water, and railroad facilities.
