Goodbee & Associates has been conducting environmental site assessments in support of transportation and environmental projects for more than a decade. Our services include hazardous materials assessments for individual sites or lengthy transportation corridors where National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) compliance is critical. This law requires that federal agencies consider the environmental impacts of any federally funded project and, in practice, a project is required to meet NEPA guidelines when a federal agency provides any portion of the financing for a project.
Our Hazardous Materials services include a thorough review of all past hazardous materials reports, obtaining and reviewing environmental database information (UST, RCRA, CERCLIS, LUST, Superfund, etc.), historic photo evaluation and thorough site reconnaissance, resulting in the identification of sites with a potential for hazardous contamination. On CDOT projects, a Modified Site Assessment (M-ESA) report summarizing potential sites is prepared.
