Women Build August 5, 2011
Goodbee & Associates (GA) staff members and honored guests volunteered on the Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Project at 1736/1738 Irving St. in Denver on August 5, 2011. The home is a a two-story duplex near Sloans Lake. We are pleased to report that the project has been completed and the partner families will receive the keys to their home and cut the ribbon on their front doors at an October 13, 2011 dedication ceremony. Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver has built more than 400 homes here in the last 30 years, housing more than 1,800 people. The group plans to build another 200 homes between 2010 and 2014 so stay tuned for future volunteer opportunities with the Goodbee team!
Women Build September 17, 2010
Goodbee staff members, along with a few selfless volunteers from local firms, spent the day Friday 9/17 helping to build a Habitat for Humanity duplex home on Julien St. in Denver. The all-female crew participated as a team under Habitat’s Women Build program. Women Build is Habitat’s volunteer program for women who want to learn construction skills and make a difference by building homes and communities. Check out some of the photos from Build Day here.

We are pleased to announce that Lisa Goodbee was awarded the Ray Finney Award from Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for her leadership and volunteer work with the Habitat Corporate Leadership Team. She has been successful in recruiting other CLT members, and continues to reach out to engineering firms and small businesses to join the Goodbee team and be active in funding and building decent safe affordable homes in Denver.
