Welcome to the second edition of “The Goodbee Connection”, our quarterly e-newsletter meant to keep our clients and friends in the know on what’s happening at Goodbee & Associates. We are pleased to include our second installment in the “a Day in the Life of Goodbee” series, where you'll join one of our Senior Project Managers in a meeting with utility owners. This month focuses on Elissa Roselyn providing insight into the intricacies and importance of the utility coordination process. Don't worry, you don't have to sit through the entire meeting; we compiled it into a two-minute clip! We also have some great new jobs to tell you about, information about our role on the RTD Eagle P3 team, and Goodbee Habitat for Humanity updates.  Thanks for your continued support and interest in Goodbee & Associates!

A Day in the Life of a Goodbee Associate | Meeting with Utility Owners

Sit in on a meeting with Elissa Roselyn, CPG, Senior Project Manager for Goodbee! Join Elissa, along with some Goodbee staff members and utility owners, as they discuss the RTD FasTracks North Metro Corridor project and the importance of the utility coordination process. North Metro is a proposed 18-mile rail transit corridor between Denver Union Station and 162nd Avenue, passing through Denver,Commerce City, Thornton, Northglenn and unincorporated Adams County. For the Goodbee team, this means the inventory and coordination of more than 400 utility facilities located along the route and communication with more than 30 utility owners regarding facility locations and potential conflicts. Additional tasks for the team involve relocation design, utility plan sheets, manhole and pothole logs, a relocation cost estimate, and a utility matrix. Let's listen in... Goodbee Gives Back: Habitat for Humanity Build-Day April 30, 2010

Goodbee staff members, along with a few honored guests from local firms, took a day off from work on April 30th to, well, do some work! The Goodbee Habitat for Humanity team, 12 members strong, armed themselves with safety goggles, hard-hats, and paint brushes to lend a hand in the completion of some interior work for the Bails site, a 24-townhome community. We are pleased to announce that the first 15 homeowners will officially receive the keys to their future homes during a July 25th dedication ceremony at the site. The Goodbee team plans on taking another ‘day off’ to participate in a Fall 2010 Build-Day at Bails to help put the finishing touches on the nine remaining homes!
